Bringing memories of coastal days into the studio, layers are added intuitively, scraped back and carved into, until the painting starts to form and lead the way.  Each painting is a journey of simplifying and finding peace.

Final paintings are fragments of sea,sky and shore with lines to follow and shapes to be discovered, becoming paintings within a painting.
